Our Causes

Medhanit Mariam is a 45 year old patient from Dilla.
She was referred to Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital from Dilla Hospital.
She was on TB medications for 6 months and finished it 2 months ago.
She currently presented with chest pain, night sweat and high grade fever.
After developing the disease, she hasn't been able to work.

She has 7 children. The elder 2 children have graduated but are still not able to find jobs. The other children are all also dependent on the family.

She was asked to get contrast CT done but was not able to afford it. YeEteye charity covered it for her. She was very surprised and glad she got the help
Yenigus Fantahun is a 35 years old female patient from Addis Ababa. She lives in a charity organizational named Addis Ababa Children and Women Union. She has no known relative who can help her.

She has been on follow up at TASH for the past 2 years from long standing liver disease. She now presented with chronic cough, bloody sputum, vomiting, loss of appetite with fever. She was diagnosed with systemic infection with pneumonia.

She asked for the assistance of YeEteye Charity for the following medications.

  • KCL

  • Antibiotics (Ceftazidime and Vancomycin) for 2 days.
Zewdu dinku is a 48 years old homeless male patient who was found unconscious on the streets of Addis Ababa and was brought to the Emergency room of Tikur Anbessa Hospital by bystanders.

He was found to have seizure and was managed accordingly and is now showing improvement. His doctors are now concerned he might suffer from low blood glucose and its complications as he has nobody who can help him with food or necessary medications. He is currently in need of the following items.
